The Flat River Historical Museum is temporarily closed to the public until further notice.
In support of the CDC’s request that we take appropriate actions to slow the progress of the COVID-19 virus, the Flat River Historical Society is keeping the Museum closed to the public for now to prioritize the safety of our visitors, board and volunteers.
We will reopen when we feel we can do so without danger to our guests and staff. Visit our Facebook site for up-to-date information.
Victorian Garden is Open while Museum is Closed
Our Victorian Garden has recently been refurbished to restore its beauty and add some new artifacts to our outdoor exhibits. Come and stroll or sit, listen and learn as you take in its beauty and tranquility through the changing seasons.
The Museum is conveniently located a block from downtown Greenville, right next to the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail along the river and across the street from Tower Riverside Park. You can park in the convenient lot behind the museum and stroll the brick pathways through the picturesque Victorian Garden. “Your Journey Begins Here” proclaims the artwork at the entrance, so prepare for an exciting trip through the history of the area!
