Several affordable levels of Sponsorship are available: Founder $500/year, Pioneer $250/year, Education $150/year/grade, Period Room $100/year/room, Logmark $100/issue.

Be a Volunteer

Enjoy hands-on activities? Be a docent to welcome visitors; help us care for our lovely garden and grounds; relate to school children as they come to learn more; donate your time to keep the museum clean and orderly; use your expertise to maintain artifacts and records. There is always something to be done.

Give a Lasting Gift

Your donation to the Flat River Historical Society and Museum Endowment Fund at the Greenville Area Community Foundation helps provide funds for the museum in perpetuity. Gifts can even honor or remember a loved one or friend. We appreciate the confidence that donors show by a commitment to our sustainability.

Support through Endowment

Flat River Historical Society/Museum Endowment Fund

This endowment fund has been established through the Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) to create long-term financial security for FRHSM as assets grow. Other donors may contribute to these funds as well. Select "GIVE NOW" on the GACF website to complete the donation form. After designating Greenville as the division of funds, an alphabetized drop-down menu of all funds will appear. Select Flat River Historical Society/Museum Fund to show your support and make your donation. You can also mention whether your gift is in honor of, or a memorial to, a family member or friend. Thank you for your support!

Capital Campaign

In 2018-2019, with a matching grant challenge from the Greenville Area Community Foundation, we embarked on a capital campaign called “Bridging the Generations”.

The generous support from businesses and individuals in our area helped us surpass our goal to enhance our property and exhibits, both inside and out, so our museum can be a place where people enjoy history as they see how our community began and became what it is today. Thank you for your support!

Your continuing support is SO appreciated!
