“It takes a village…” is true about the Flat River Historical Society. It was organized because people felt the need to preserve the history of our community. The museum is full of artifacts and exhibits that people donated because they wanted to share their personal history and memories. For over 50 years we have been grateful to have so much support. Join today (or renew your membership) to be a part of our exciting mission to share the history of our community with others. Your membership dues help us with our day-to-day expenses – and bring you the Logmark newsletter and other up-to-date news about artifacts, history, events or occasions.

Place your family or business name on a special exhibit, period room, artifact or event to show that you value the history of our community. Levels of support include: Founder $500/year, Pioneer $200/year, Education $150/year/grade, Period Room $100/year/room, Logmark $100/issue.
Volunteer
Enjoy hands-on activities? Be a docent to welcome visitors; help us care for our lovely garden and grounds; relate to school children as they come to learn more; donate your time to keep the museum clean and orderly; use your expertise to maintain artifacts and records. There is always something to be do.
