Harness Maker

The harness maker used leather and other materials to create harnesses, saddlebags, bridles, reins, straps and other needed items. Saddles took many hours to make with probably no two alike. The saddle displayed in the shop belonged to John Green’s grandson who carried mail in 1869. (Wonder if the leather apron of the blacksmith next door may have been made here?)
